Applicant New User Registration

The following sections describe the AWC Applicant Portal registration process for NEW external applicant users. An external user is considered as any user who is "Non FAA". A NEW user is considered for any person that does not have an ASKME External User account.

Once you have been approved access to the AWC Applicant Portal, you use the My Profile option in the application to manage your Applicant account; see My Profile.

AWC Applicant Portal New User Registration

The external user must first register for access to the AWC Applicant Portal. The following sections describe the process for a new external user to enter their request for access to the AWC Applicant Portal.

Complete and Submit a New User Registration

The following section provides the step by step instructions for registering as a new user for the AWC Applicant Portal. Mandatory fields are indicated with a red asterisk (*) on the screen.

  1. Open the web browser and navigate to AWC Applicant Portal site URL.
  2. Click Agree for the System Use Notice. The AWC Applicant Portal login page displays.
  1. On the AWC Applicant Portal login page, click New User Sign-Up. The User Information tab of the New User Registration page displays.

User Information tab

The following section provides the step by step instructions for completing the information on the User Information tab. Mandatory fields are indicated with a red asterisk (*) on the screen.

  1. Enter your first name in the First Name text box.
  2. Enter your middle name into the Middle Name text box if applicable.
  3. Enter your last name into the Last Name text box.
  4. Enter your email address into the Email text box.
  1. Enter your telephone number in the Phone text box.
  1. Enter your fax number into the Fax field.
  1. Enter your street address into the Address 1 field.
  2. If applicable, enter additional address information (e.g., Suite #) into the Address 2 field.
  3. Enter your city in into the City field.
  4. Expand and select your State from the drop-down list.
  1. Select your Country from the Country drop-down list if other than the United States.
  2. Enter the your zip/postal code into the Zip/Postal Code field.
  3. Click Save & Next. If all required fields have been completed, the Security Information tab displays. Click Reset to clear the data entered on the page without saving. Click Previous to return to the Login page without saving the data on the User Information page.

Security Information tab

The Security Information section on the Security Information tab allows you to select security questions and answers used when resetting your password. To complete this section, follow the steps below.

Note: The User Information must be completed before accessing the Security Information tab.

  1. Select the first security question from the drop-down list. The Security Question #1 drop-down list has the following choices:
  1. Enter the answer to Security Question #1 into the Answer field.
  2. Select the second security question from the drop-down list. The Security Question #2 drop-down list has the following choices:
  1. Enter the answer to Security Question #2 into the Answer field.
  2. Select the third security question from the Question #3 drop-down list. The Security Question #3 drop-down list has the following choices:
  1. Enter the answer to Security Question #3 into the Answer field.

Password

The Password section on the Security Information tab allows you to set your password. To complete this section, follow the steps below.

  1. Enter your password into the Password field.
  1. Re-enter your password into the Confirm Password field.
  1. Click Submit User Registration. A confirmation message displays. Click Reset to clear the data entered on the page without saving. Click Previous to return to the User Information page without saving the data on the Security Information page.
  2. Click Yes to the confirmation message to submit your registration request. The registration request is submitted and a confirmation message displays indicating that you will be notified by email and given a User Name.
  3. Click OK. The AWC Applicant Portal System Use Notice displays.
