Forgot Password
The Forgot Password page allows you to retrieve your password in order to access the AWC Applicant Portal. You reach this page by clicking Forgot Password on the AWC Applicant Portal Login page.
Request a Password Reset
To request a password reset in order to log into the AWC Applicant Portal application, follow the steps below:
- Enter your user name or email address in the User Name (or email) text box.
- Click Find User. The page is refreshed and your security questions are displayed.
- The Security Questions (& Answers) are those you entered during the initial registration process, or updated in the My Profile page.
- Enter the answer to Security Question #1 into the Answer field (this is the answer that you entered during the initial registration process or when you last updated your answers on the User Profile page).
- Enter the answer to Security Question #2 into the Answer field (this is the answer that you entered during the initial registration process or when you last updated your answers on the User Profile page).
- Enter the answer to Security Question #3 into the Answer field (this is the answer that you entered during the initial registration process or when you last updated your answers on the User Profile page).
- Click Submit. The system displays a confirmation message indicating that the request to reset the password has been successfully submitted.

Click OK to close the message. The AWC Applicant Portal Login page displays.
- An email will be sent providing you with a temporary password, which must be reset at your next login. See the steps below to complete the process of resetting your password after you receive the temporary password email notification.
Reset Your Password with Temporary Password
To complete the following steps, you must have received the email notification with your temporary password.
- Open the web browser and navigate to the AWC Applicant Portal site URL.
- Click Agree on the System Use Notice (see above). The AWC Applicant Portal Login page displays.
- Enter your user name or email address into the User Name (or email) text box.
- Enter your "temporary" password into the Password field. A message displays indicating that your password must be changed.
- Click the here link to continue the process of changing your password. The Change Password page displays. Your User Name and Email are displayed in read-only format.
- Enter your temporary password into the Current Password field.
- Enter your new password into the New Password field.
- Re-enter your new password into the Confirm New Password field.
NOTE: The password cannot be the same as the previous 24 iterations. If you enter a password that has been used in the last 24 iterations when changing your password, a message displays with instructions to choose a different password. Close the message and update the new password to one that is unique to the last 24 iterations.
- Click Submit. A confirmation message displays.
- Click Previous to return to the previous page without submitting the password change request. Click Reset to clear your answers on this page and start over.
- Click OK to close the message. The AWC Applicant Portal Login page displays.
- Log into the AWC Applicant Portal using your new credentials.
