Owner's Information

The Owner's Information page allows you to enter or view information about the owner of the aircraft for which the airworthiness certification is being sought. If the owner's information is associated in the system with the aircraft, then all fields except "Is Dealer" will be auto-populated and in read-only format.

You access this page, after completing the Aircraft Registration or SFA Registration page, in any of the following ways:

• From the Aircraft Registration page or SFA Registration page, after having saved the required registration information, select the Owner's Information link from the third-tier menu. The Owner's Information page displays.
• From the My AWC landing page, select the Special Flight Authorizations - New link under the My Applications tab. The Special Flight Authorizations list at the bottom of the screen displays your current SFA applications. Select the appropriate application by clicking on the Application Number link. The SFA Registration page displays. Select the Owner's Information link from the third-tier menu. The Owner's Information page displays.

Special Note: The data on this page displays as read only when the application status is canceled, closed or withdrawn.

At the top of the FAA header, Help, User Guide, and References links are displayed in the right corner along with a Signout link. The Help link opens page-specific help for the current page. The User Guide link opens the Airworthiness Certification Applicant User Guide, which is the secondary resource for Airworthiness Certification Applicant Portal application user procedures and reference information. The References link opens a page allowing you to access FAA reference data relevant to airworthiness certification. The Signout link logs you out of the application and takes you to the System Use Notice. At the bottom of the FAA header, your name displays right justified along with a Person icon (); clicking the icon displays a pop-up screen with a list of the roles assigned to you.

The Airworthiness Certification application navigation top-level menu displays just below the title bar and contains the links that provide access to the Airworthiness Certification commands, or functions: My AWC, Search, Reports and My Profile.

In addition, below the application data block is a tabbed third-tier menu with links to the various pages in the application process. The tabs are color coded indicating whether the pages under that tab are complete (green), in progress (yellow) or not yet started (red). Pages with required fields are marked with icons indicating completed (), in progress (), or not yet started ().

The third-tier menu has the following categories: Aircraft Info, Owner/Applicant Info, Aircraft Operations, External Document, and Review/Submit. Each category has links to the relevant various pages in the application on which you are working.

The Owner's Information page name appears below the third-tier menu.

Enter the Owner's Information

To enter the owner's information, follow the steps below. Note that the owner's information may already be in the system, in which case fields will be pre-populated and in read-only format. Required fields are marked with a red asterisk (*).

1. Enter the name of the owner in the Name text box.
2. If the owner is a dealer, select the Yes radio button for the Is Dealer field; if not, select the No radio button.

3. Enter the owner's street address in the Address1 text box.
4. Enter, if needed, any additional street or office information in the Address2 text box.
5. Enter the owner's city in the City text box.
6. Enter the owner's state in the State text box.
7. Enter the owner's zip code in the Zip text box.
8. Select the owner's country from the Country drop-down list. United States is the default value.
9. Click Save to save your entries and remain on the page; click Save & Next to save your entries and move to the next page, Applicant Information. Click Reset before clicking Save to clear your entries.
