The SFA - Update Blanket Authorization link under Create Application on the My AWC page is used to create or update a Blanket Special Flight Authorization (SFA). The first page in the process, which is accessed by clicking the SFA - Update Blanket Authorization link, is the SFA Update Blanket Authorization page. Once you successfully search for the SFA that you want to update, the standard SFA pages will be accessible and pre-populated with data from the referenced SFA.
Important: You must submit your Blanket SFA application to the FAA for processing by an Aviation Safety Inspector (ASI). FAA individual designees and Organization Designation Authorizations (ODAs) are not authorized to process Blanket SFA applications.
